The Erie Community Arts and Technology Broadcast Series
Erie Art Company, in conjunction with our partner, FEED Media Arts, will develop the Erie Community Arts and Technology Broadcast Series. This 12-month, live-streamed initiative will showcase diverse musical and contemporary dance talent from Erie County. The series will feature eight performances live-streamed and available through multiple platforms, a direct response to the community’s request and need for accessible, high-quality, interdisciplinary arts programming and performances. Utilizing FEED’s state-of-the-art audio-visual infrastructure, the series will deliver exceptional broadcast quality, elevating the visibility of Erie’s performing arts scene and providing local and global accessibility. The entire series will culminate in a live-streamed and in-person panel discussion discussing the future of Erie’s musical, dance, and performance initiatives.
The project delivers four key benefits to Erie patrons local performers, and local sound technicians, as well as providing for our expanding global market:
Erie Art Company’s commitment is to always financially support artists and art organizations by providing stipends for all performances. Performers will receive a direct stipend of $200 per performance and retain professional video/audio masters of their set. These assets can be instrumental career growth, provide content for grant applications, and useful for securing future engagements.

The series aims to provide accessible, high-quality, interdisciplinary arts programming, utilizing FEED's audio-visual infrastructure for exceptional broadcast quality. The entire series will conclude with a live-streamed and in-person panel discussion on the future of Erie’s performance initiatives.

Financial Support for Artists: Performers will receive a stipend per performance and professional video/audio masters of their set for career growth.
Accessibility: Virtualizing the experience removes physical and logistical barriers for the homebound or those lacking transportation. It also allows performers to use "pop-up" spaces for a shorter time, minimizing costs.
Cultural Dialogue: By including both music and contemporary dance, the project aims to tap into unsupported local talent and promote a richer cultural dialogue.
Technical Training: The project offers training in sound mixing, live-streaming, and video production, giving new technical artists valuable experience.
Sustainability and Access:
The series will use a three-tiered ticketing model for sustainability: Pay-What-You-Can, General, and Patron. All events remain open to the public on-site and globally.

General Admission: Viewed on Bandcamp, including a follow-up discussion.
Patron: Includes Bandcamp viewing, follow-up discussion, and participation in the final Erie Arts panel discussion.
Project Timeline (12 Months):
Month 1-2: Soliciting and scheduling performances, including tech-runs, follow-ups, and marketing.
Months 3-10: Active performance window with monthly broadcasts, streaming platform management, and post-production of artist assets.
Month 10-12: Dedicated to the panel discussion about the performances, arts in Erie, and project sustainability.
