Bello Bello: Between Hue and Hair, 2023 is a self-portrait —an interactive sculpture that imagines Afro-futurity and identity formation. It uses machine learning, biological material, and video and audio recordings with custom software and electronics.

FEED concluded a fantastic summer of media art programming with the deinstallation of Bello's ambitious artwork. This fall, artist residencies and events will continue at FEED TOO (1301 State) while our art center is renovated.

During construction, STATIK pop-up (41 E 13th) is open Fri/Sat 1-8 and Sun 1-5, offering custom upcycled clothes, limited edition prints and media art in our cozy corner store. @statikgarments
