OPENFEED 2026–2027: Open Call for Virtual Residencies

We are thrilled to announce that applications are open on a rolling basis for the OPENFEED 2026–2027 Virtual Artist Residency.

The program welcomes creators working across the full spectrum of digital, electronic, and experimental media. Whether your medium lives purely in code or bridges physical computing and responsive hardware, we invite artists working in:

Interactive installations & generative art
Sound art, video art, and software art
Kinetic digital sculptures & circuit bending
Robotics, light art, and electronics-based work
Bio-responsive art, digital performance, and participatory initiatives

The Creative Freedom to Explore

The OPENFEED residency is intentionally broad and exploratory. We encourage participants to investigate complex themes, personal narratives, and emerging conceptual frontiers that resonate deeply with their unique practice. The platform champions complete creative inquiry—with our only fundamental standard being zero tolerance for hate speech or discriminatory content.

What to Expect

Residents gain a virtual incubator to refine ongoing bodies of work, connect with peers, and share their practice with a wider public. Full details on public programs, interactive workshops, and culminating exhibition dates tied to the 2026–2027 cohort will be announced in the coming weeks.
